Experience a whole new dimension of music with BrainJam – a brain computer interface neurotechnology system that allows a user to experience music and galvanic vestibular brain stimulation in sync.

Through experimentation with transcranial electrical stimulation for meditation, focus, and thinking enhancement, Jeremy Stairs and I were exposed to the strong effects of galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS). GVS is stimulation of your balance system and can be used to make users feel an assortment of unusual gravitational and acceleration sensations. We used GVS in a wearable computer brain-computer interface (BCI) to stimulate your balance system in sync with music.

The concept is still a work in progress, but early user testing and anecdotal reports show great promise.
